The Montreal Amateur Radio Club offers a course held on Saturday mornings starting in January for the Basic Qualification.
Classes are held over Zoom for between two to three hours each week.
The January 2024 class is currently underway, and registration has ended. No further admissions will be accepted.

A basic level course will be held starting January 6th, 2024. It will be held via Zoom, and run 10 weeks from January to March.
The course is given in English. The draft schedule can be found here.
The course covers all of the necessary electrical and electronic theory as well as radio operation and the rules and regulations.
At the end of the course, students will write the Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (formerly Industry Canada) examination for the Basic Qualification.
Cost: members $80.00, non-members $100.00
Includes all course material, exam session and club membership for the current membership year (ends August 31st).
